Vines

Heaven and earth are threads of one loom.

June Sprigg, By Shaker Hands

Vines are plants which are designed to climb, twine, grasp, scramble, or creep over vegetation to get to light.

Some Plant Types are based on botanical differences (grasses, ferns, slime molds, fungus) while others are just arbitrary groups based on appearance (vines, trees, wildflowers) or popular interest (orchids, carnivorous plants).
